The 2026 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series begins its campaign at the technical Okayama International Circuit with the first official practice session of the season. Sacha Fenestraz and Yuhi Sekiguchi signaled a strong start to the 2026 season on Saturday, April 11, 2026, by topping the official practice session at Okayama. The No. 39 Denso Kobelco SARD GR Supra duo's objective was to establish a benchmark for the field, and Fenestraz did so with a blistering lap of 1:18.042. This time held firm through the exclusive GT500 run at the end of the session, placing the Toyota at the top of a leaderboard dominated by the GR Supra platform.
