Tom Vialle secured a stunning victory in the opening MXGP race on Sunday, March 29, 2026, as a technical nightmare dismantled the field’s heavy favorites. Vialle’s objective was to stay out of trouble on the treacherous Frauenfeld circuit, and his patience paid off when the two primary championship contenders, Lucas Coenen and Jeffrey Herlings, both suffered identical mechanical failures.
