The 2026 Asian Development Tour (ADT) schedule continues with the Singha-SAT ADT Hua Hin Championship at the historic Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, Thailand's oldest golf layout. The primary challenge for the field is the course's classic design, which features tight, tree-lined fairways and small, elevated greens that demand precise approach play. The objective for the competitors is to navigate the "old-school" hazards, including the unique presence of local wildlife and the strategic bunkering that protects the par-3s, to secure an early advantage in this ฿3,000,000 (approx. US$82,000) event.

Strategically, the opening round is a test of accuracy over raw power. The goal for the players is to keep the ball in play on the narrow corridors of the front nine before attempting to score on the more open reachable par-5s. The tactical focus for favorites such as Nicklaus Chiam and Khavish Varadan is to manage the firming Bermuda grass surfaces, which can become notoriously fast under the intense Prachuap Khiri Khan sun. The ultimate goal for every starter is to post a score in the mid-to-low 60s to stay within striking distance of the lead in what is expected to be a high-scoring week on the ADT.
