The second qualifying session at Sebring International Raceway determines the starting grid for the second race of the 2026 season. The primary challenge for the field is the rapidly rising track temperature, which typically makes the 3.74-mile circuit "greasier" than during the morning's first session. The objective for the Pro class drivers is to extract a "hero lap" within the first two flying attempts, as the Pirelli tires begin to lose their peak performance after three heat cycles on Sebring's abrasive concrete.

Strategic focus shifts to Elias De La Torre and Nick Persing, who take over the driving duties for their respective teams. For De La Torre and the No. 29 TR3 Racing entry, the goal is to complete a clean sweep of the front-row starts for the weekend. Meanwhile, the objective for the Pro-Am and Am classes is to navigate the inevitable traffic at Turn 7 and Turn 17, where slower cars often congregate during the 15-minute sprint for the pole.

Result Description
Elias De La Torre secured the overall pole position for Race 2, ensuring TR3 Racing locked out both top spots for the season-opening weekend at Sebring. De La Torre clocked a 2:01.246, a time that reflected the warmer track conditions compared to the sub-two-minute pace seen earlier in the morning. His performance was characterized by absolute precision through the "Snake Pit" and the notoriously bumpy Turn 17, where he found nearly three-tenths of a second over his nearest rival.

The session was a showcase of consistency for the top teams. Nick Persing put the No. 1 Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti (WTR) entry into the second spot with a 2:01.558, trailing De La Torre by 0.312 seconds. In the Pro-Am class, Graham Doyle continued his impressive form alongside Danny Formal, securing the class pole with the fifth-fastest time overall. The session ended with a late flurry of activity as Colin Queen moved the ANSA Motorsports entry into third place, while several Am class drivers were penalized for track limit violations at the exit of "The Hairpin," shuffling the mid-pack before the final classification was confirmed.
