The second practice session at Sebring International Raceway serves as the final dress rehearsal before the double-header qualifying. With track temperatures rising in the Florida afternoon, the primary challenge for the field is adjusting to the "greasier" surface on the concrete sections of the 3.74-mile track. The objective for the Pro class teams is to find the perfect aero balance to handle the bumps of Turn 17 while maintaining enough straight-line speed to defend against the draft on the Ullman Straight.

Strategic focus remains on Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti (WTR) and TR3 Racing, who traded blows during the morning session. The goal for drivers like Danny Formal—now competing in the Pro-Am category—is to fine-tune the setup for his teammate, 2025 Am champion Graham Doyle, to ensure they are competitive for the class pole. With 39 cars sharing the track, finding a clear window for a simulated qualifying lap is the top priority before the sun sets on the first full day of the 2026 season.

Result Description
Will Bamber and Elias De La Torre topped the charts in the final practice of the day, signaling that TR3 Racing has closed the gap to the morning pacesetters. Their lap of 2:00.599 in the No. 29 Lamborghini Miami entry stood as the fastest of the session, narrowly edging out the WTR duo of Hampus Ericsson and Nick Persing by just 0.276 seconds. The session showed a significant uptick in pace across the field, with the top three cars all dipping into the 2:00 bracket.

In the Pro-Am class, the reshuffled WTR lineup of Danny Formal and Graham Doyle proved to be the class of the field. They posted a 2:00.607, which was not only the fastest in their class but the second-fastest time overall, reinforcing Formal's reputation as a Sebring specialist. ANSA Motorsports also remained in the hunt, with Tommi Gore and Colin Queen securing the third-fastest time in the Pro category. The session was briefly interrupted by a red flag for a minor incident involving an LB Cup entry, but the field largely utilized the 45 minutes to lock in their setups for tomorrow's qualifying.
