"Moving Day" at The Palms at Sanctuary Cove is centered on world number seven Hannah Green, who carries a two-shot lead into the weekend. The challenge for the home favorite is to maintain her composure under the weight of history, as she aims to become the first Australian woman to win three consecutive professional tournaments. With a $600,000 prize fund on the line, the pressure from the international field is expected to intensify as the course conditions firm up under the Queensland sun.

The chasing pack is led by England’s Meghan MacLaren and South Africa’s Casandra Alexander, both of whom have shown the ability to go low on this layout. For MacLaren, the objective is to leverage her exceptional record in Australia to disrupt Green’s rhythm. Meanwhile, rising stars like Switzerland’s Vanessa Knecht look to capitalize on the strategic nature of the par-71 course, where aggressive play on the par-fives can yield significant rewards. Precision on the undulating greens remains the most critical factor for those hoping to narrow the gap before the final round.

Result Description
Hannah Green maintained her two-stroke advantage heading into the final round, finishing the day at 14-under par after a resilient 4-under 67. Her round was a display of championship maturity; despite an early bogey on the second hole, Green rallied with a barrage of birdies on the front nine. Although she faced a "rollercoaster" back nine with two bogeys, her ability to strike back with birdies on the 10th, 11th, and 16th ensured she remained the woman to beat in the hunt for the Karrie Webb Cup.

The leaderboard behind her saw a massive surge from Vanessa Knecht and Casandra Alexander, both of whom carded rounds of 65 (-6) to move into a tie for second at 12-under par. Knecht’s day was highlighted by a spectacular eagle on the par-five 4th, while Alexander relied on clinical chipping to stay in the hunt. Further down the field, Finland’s Noora Komulainen produced the round of the tournament—a sensational 8-under 63—to climb into the top five, though she remains four shots back of the relentless Green.
