Description

The 117th edition of Milan–San Remo serves as a "mechanical necessity" for the peloton to navigate the longest one-day race on the professional calendar (298 km). The strategic narrative centers on the dual dominance of Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates). The primary hurdle for the field is the explosive "Poggio" climb, where the race is historically won or lost.
