Description

The final round of the Blue Bay LPGA at the Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course is the culmination of the tour's three-tournament spring swing through Asia. Set against the tropical backdrop of Hainan Island, the final 18 holes present a high-stakes arena where the $2,600,000 purse and 500 CME Globe points will be decided. This course is notorious for its difficult, large-scale green complexes that require a deft touch and extreme patience, especially as the humidity and coastal winds of the South China Sea intensify throughout the afternoon.

The narrative for Championship Sunday centers on Mi Hyang Lee's quest to end a nearly nine-year winless drought, as she enters the day with the lead and the momentum of a bogey-free second round. However, the pressure from local favorite Yu Liu and American challenger Auston Kim ensures a tense finish. For the international field, the final round is a test of who can best manage their distance control in the thick tropical air while navigating the strategic "risk-reward" opportunities on the back-nine par-5s.
