The post-race Valencia Test at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo serves as the traditional "Day 1" of the new season, where the paddock buzzes with the first sightings of riders in their new colors and the debut of next-generation machinery. For 2026, the intrigue is at an all-time high as Jorge Martín begins his life as an Aprilia rider and Marco Bezzecchi settles into the factory Noale squad.

The session is often defined by the "silly season" transitions finally becoming reality. Fans are eager to see how Marc Márquez adapts to the official factory Ducati Lenovo Team and how the rookies, led by the highly touted Fermin Aldeguer, handle the brutal power of a premier-class machine. With manufacturers like Yamaha debuting their long-awaited V4 engine and others validating radical new aero packages, every lap provides crucial data for the winter development race before the paddock heads to Sepang in early 2026.

Result Description
The final official track action of 2025 concluded with Raul Fernandez and the Trackhouse Racing team sitting atop the leaderboard. Fernandez posted a 1:29.373, leading a dominant display for Aprilia that saw the factory’s new recruit, Marco Bezzecchi, finish just 0.027 seconds behind in second place. The session provided a massive boost for the Noale factory as they integrated both Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín (16th) into their program.

The headlines, however, were stolen by the impressive debuts of the grid's newest faces. Three-time World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu made his long-awaited public MotoGP debut with Pramac Yamaha, finishing 18th and clocking 53 laps to finish just six-tenths off the lead Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo. Meanwhile, Fermin Aldeguer made an immediate impact for Gresini Racing, finishing a stellar 4th overall. At the factory Ducati camp, Francesco Bagnaia rounded out the top 10 while testing early components of the GP26, despite a late-session crash that cut his running short.
