As the HSBC Women's World Championship enters its second day at the Sentosa Golf Club, the pressure mounts on the elite field of 66 players. Overnight leader Auston Kim faces the daunting task of maintaining her narrow one-shot advantage over a pack of major champions and rising stars. The Tanjong Course has already shown its teeth with high humidity and tricky pin positions, making the second round a critical test of endurance and tactical discipline. Result Description
Auston Kim maintained her position at the top of the leaderboard after two rounds in Singapore, carding a steady 3-under 69 to reach a 9-under par total. While she remains the woman to beat, the story of the day was the explosive performance from three-time major winner Minjee Lee. After an opening 72, the Australian found her rhythm on Friday, firing a sensational 8-under 64—tying the round of the day—to vault into a share of second place. Lee’s round was highlighted by an eagle and six birdies, placing her just one stroke back of the lead.

Joining Lee at 8-under par are South Korea’s Haeran Ryu (68) and Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn (67). The leaderboard is now a star-studded affair, with Angel Yin also matching the day’s low score of 64 to sit three shots back, and Charley Hull moving into contention with a 67. Defending champion Lydia Ko had a quieter day, finishing with a level-par 72 to remain at 2-under, while world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul showed signs of recovery with a 70. With the top five players separated by just two strokes, the "Moving Day" third round promises to be a high-stakes shootout among the world's best.
