Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx-Protime) overcame a disjointed lead-out and a "scary" finale to claim her second consecutive stage win at the 2026 UAE Tour Women. Despite a low-speed approach to the final 20 kilometers that saw the peloton compress and the sprint trains lose organization, Wiebes displayed her trademark composure. After becoming momentarily separated from her primary lead-out rider, Barbara Guarischi, Wiebes navigated the traffic with clinical precision, launching a devastating sprint from the 200-meter mark to win by several bike lengths.

The stage was marked by a four-rider breakaway featuring Magdalene Lind, Petra Stiasny, Sara Luccon, and Sonia Rossetti, who built a gap of seven minutes before being reeled in with 29 kilometers to go.
