Result Description
In a showdown already being hailed as the greatest dunk contest of all time, Zach LaVine outlasted Aaron Gordon in a double-overtime thriller. The two finalists traded an unprecedented six consecutive perfect 50s in the championship and tie-breaker rounds, pushing the limits of human verticality and creativity.

The contest finally ended in a second "dunk-off" round. Gordon performed a complex reverse double-pump that earned a 47, leaving the door open for LaVine. The Timberwolves star sealed his second straight title with a between-the-legs slam from the free-throw line, earning a perfect 50. While LaVine took home the trophy, the night is remembered as a shared victory for two athletes who pushed the art of dunking into a new dimension.
