Description

The English Open supported by HotelPlanner (initially announced as the England Golf Challenge) concluded on 21 June 2026 at The Vale Golf Club in Worcestershire, England. American golfer John Catlin won the historic tournament following a dramatic, marathon seven-hole play-off against Norway's Kristian Krogh Johannessen.
The event marked the highly anticipated resurrection of the English Open after a 24-year hiatus, made possible through a collaboration between the DP World Tour and England Golf. It is part of the HotelPlanner Tour (the officially rebranded Challenge Tour for the 2026 season).
