Description

Shaun Norris, Ryutaro Nagano, and Ren Yonezawa earned the three qualifying spots for The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale through the Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open. The tournament concluded on 31 May 2026 at the JFE Setonaikai Golf Club in Okayama, Japan.
South Africa's Shaun Norris dominated the event, finishing with a tournament-record winning total of 24-under-par to win by five strokes. Ryutaro Nagano and Ren Yonezawa both finished tied for second place at 19-under-par to claim the remaining exemptions into golf's oldest major.
