The AdventHealth Championship is a Korn Ferry Tour event that was played for the first time in 2009 as the Christmas in October Classic. It has been played at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, Kansas and Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri. The tournament took a hiatus in 2010, and returned as the Midwest Classic in 2011 with the Kansas City Crusaders as the host organization. The event was renamed as the KC Golf Classic in 2018.
Prize Fund USD 1,000,000

The Japanese rookie Yuta Sugiura won the 2026 AdventHealth Championship on 23 August 2026, capturing his first career victory on the Korn Ferry Tour. He finished the tournament with an impressive 29-under par 259 total score, holding off a historic final-round charge by Austin Hitt. Austin Hitt finished just one stroke behind in second place after shooting a spectacular, bogey-free 12-under 60 on Sunday.
The tournament took place from 20–23 August 2026 at the Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri. It served as the 21st and final event of the Korn Ferry Tour regular season, determining which top 156 players moved on to the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.
