Description

The Fuji GT 3 Hours Race (officially known as the FUJI GT 3Hours RACE GW SPECIAL) is a premier long-distance sports car event held annually during Japan's Golden Week holidays at the Fuji Speedway. Serving as Round 2 of the Super GT Series, this endurance race spans three hours, pushing drivers, strategy teams, and machinery to their absolute limits over a distance that exceeds 500 kilometres.
The 2026 event was held in front of a massive crowd of over 83,000 spectators across the weekend, yielding dramatic strategy battles across both competition classes.
GT500 Class Winners: Drivers Sho Tsuboi and Kenta Yamashita took a spectacular back-to-back victory in the #36 au TOM'S Toyota GR Supra. Despite carrying 40 kilogrammes of Success Weight, they overcame a 20-second deficit in the opening stint to execute an aggressive out-lap strategy, securing a Toyota 1-2 finish ahead of the pole-sitting #14 ENEOS GR Supra.
