Christopher Bell returned to Victory Lane in the Craftsman Truck Series on Friday, April 10, 2026, delivering a clinical performance to win the Tennessee Army National Guard 250. Bell’s objective was to maximize his opportunity as a substitute for the injured Stewart Friesen in the No. 62 Halmar Friesen Toyota, and he did so by taking the lead from Christian Eckes on Lap 188. He fended off a late-race charge from Chandler Smith following a restart on Lap 224 to win by 0.330 seconds.

The race was defined by high-stakes drama and championship-altering incidents. The most significant moment occurred on Lap 180 when Corey Heim’s bid for the $500,000 Triple Truck Challenge sweep ended in a violent multi-truck crash. Contact from Christian Eckes sent Heim spinning into the outside wall, triggering a chain-reaction collision that collected pole-sitter Kaden Honeycutt and Layne Riggs.
