Description

The 2026 Formula 3 Monaco Sprint Race was won by Gerrard Xie of DAMS Lucas Oil. While Hiyu Yamakoshi crossed the line first on track, he was subsequently disqualified from the event, handing the official victory to Xie
The race took place on Saturday, 6 June 2026, at the iconic Circuit de Monaco. It was a highly chaotic event marked by an early red flag following a multi-car collision. Hiyu Yamakoshi originally converted his reverse-grid pole position into what seemed like a maiden win, managing a red flag restart and a brief Virtual Safety Car period.
Following post-race technical inspections, Yamakoshi was disqualified, promoting Gerrard Xie to P1 for his first ever FIA F3 victory. Bruno del Pino was promoted to P2, securing a strong podium finish.
