Description

The Senior Open Championship, or simply The Senior Open (and originally known as the Senior British Open) is a professional golf tournament for players aged 50 and over. It is run by The R&A, the same body that organises The Open Championship. Prize money won in the event is official money on both PGA Tour Champions (formerly the Senior PGA Tour and Champions Tour) and the European Senior Tour.
For sponsorship reasons, it is currently known as The ISPS HANDA Senior Open.

The 2026 ISPS HANDA Senior Open was won by American golfer Jerry Kelly, who captured his third senior major championship and 14th career PGA Tour Champions title.
At 59 years old, Jerry Kelly became the tournament's oldest winner since Bernhard Langer won it at age 61 in 2019.
Scotland’s own Stephen Gallacher fired a sizzling, course-record-matching 8-under 62 during the final round to leap into solo fifth place.
