The Lunar Owls BC prepare for a celestial showdown against the "Ghost Gang" of Phantom BC in a matchup of contrasting styles. The Owls, led by the playmaking wizardry of Skylar Diggins and the inside-out versatility of Marina Mabrey, look to establish their dominance on the perimeter. However, they face a formidable Phantom frontcourt anchored by Aliyah Boston, whose rebounding and rim protection have been the cornerstone of her team’s identity. With Kelsey Plum spearheading the Phantom attack, the Owls’ defense will be stretched to its limits as they attempt to ground the high-flying Vitoria veterans in this high-stakes Unrivaled contest.

Result Description
In a masterclass of defensive grit and late-game execution, Phantom BC pulled away in the final minutes to secure a 59-49 victory over the Lunar Owls. The game was a physical, low-scoring affair that saw both teams struggle to find rhythm early. Aliyah Boston was the anchor for Phantom, recording a dominant double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds while neutralizing the Owls' interior threats. Kelsey Plum complemented the inside game with her own 18-point performance, including several clutch baskets in the fourth quarter to silence the Owls' comeback attempt.

The Lunar Owls remained competitive through the third quarter, trailing by only one point (48-47) heading into the final frame. Skylar Diggins led the charge for the Owls with 18 points, but the team's offense stagnated in the closing minutes, managing only two points in the final three minutes of play. Temi Fagbenle contributed 10 points and 9 rebounds in a valiant effort, but Phantom’s 11-2 run to close the game proved insurmountable. The victory moves Phantom BC to a 6-3 record, while the Owls drop to 2-7 as they continue to search for consistency in their offensive execution.
