Sam Lowes signaled his intent for Sunday’s races by topping the morning Warm Up session with a blistering 1:28.858. The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider led a formidable Ducati sweep of the top spots, narrowly edging out Saturday’s Race 1 winner Nicolo Bulega by just 0.003 seconds. The session confirmed that the Panigale V4R remains the bike to beat on the fast, flowing curves of the Australian circuit.

The Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team continued to show promising pace as Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani secured the third and fourth fastest times respectively. Both riders remained within three-tenths of the top spot, suggesting a highly competitive battle for the podium in the upcoming Superpole sprint. Yari Montella rounded out the top five, further cementing a strong weekend for the Barni Spark Racing Team.
