Description

The 2026 ARCA Menards Series returns to Phoenix Raceway for the annual combination event with the ARCA Menards Series West. This 150-lap showdown is a critical proving ground, pitting national series regulars against West Coast specialists on the unique one-mile tri-oval. Carson Brown delivered a performance for the history books, leading every single lap of the General Tire 150 to claim his first career victory in his ARCA Menards Series debut. Starting from the pole, the 17-year-old was untouchable, navigating numerous restarts and a dramatic green-white-checkered overtime finish to bring Pinnacle Racing Group back to Victory Lane. By winning this combination event, Brown also secured his first career ARCA West victory in just his second start in that division.

The race was punctuated by several "Big One" style incidents, the most significant of which occurred with roughly 50 laps to go, collecting several front-runners including Isabella Robusto, Mia Lovell, and Julian DaCosta. Despite the chaos behind him, Brown remained composed, fending off teammate Tristan McKee, who finished a close second to secure a 1-2 sweep for the Pinnacle team. Thomas Annunziata finished third as the highest-placed national series full-timer, while Trevor Huddleston and Mason Massey rounded out the top five. The victory marks the 39th time a driver has won in their ARCA debut, cementing Brown as a rising star in the NASCAR developmental ranks.
