Description

Kyle Ryde won Race 1 of the ZYN British Superbike Championship (BSB) at Knockhill Racing Circuit. He took his sixth victory of the season for the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing team.
Reigning champion Kyle Ryde led from the start but faced intense, race-long pressure from Bradley Ray. The two exchanged fastest laps continuously. However, Ray suffered a heartbreaking mechanical failure on his McAMS Yamaha on lap 28 of 30, forcing an immediate retirement.Ray’s retirement promoted Scott Redding to second place. Behind them, Glenn Irwin fended off Ryan Vickers to secure an emotional third place, marking his first podium appearance since his severe 2025 injury.
