Description

Raul Fernandez won the 2026 MotoGP Dutch Sprint Race at the TT Circuit Assen, leading a historic 1-2 finish for the Trackhouse Aprilia team. This victory marks Fernandez's second Sprint win of the 2026 season.
Satellite rider Ai Ogura took the holeshot from second on the grid, but polesitter Jorge Martin quickly fought back for the lead. By lap three, Raul Fernandez sliced through the front pack to seize a lead he would maintain to the checkered flag.
Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia crossed the finish line in 6th place but was handed a post-race one-position drop penalty for exceeding track limits on the green zone of the final chicane, promoting his teammate Marc Marquez to 6th.
