Maro Engel won Race 2 of the 2026 DTM season opener at the Red Bull Ring on 26 April 2026. Driving for Mercedes-AMG Team Ravenol, Engel overcame a pole-position start by Kelvin van der Linde, taking the lead after the first pit stop cycle and eventually finishing nearly five seconds ahead of the field.
