Result Description

The championship clash between Alycia Baumgardner and Delfine Persoon ended in an anti-climactic No-Contest during the fourth round. Baumgardner’s primary objective was to make a definitive statement in her return, and she began brilliantly by scoring a knockdown in the first round with a crisp left hook that forced Persoon’s gloves to touch the canvas.
