Description

The 2022/23 PDC World Darts Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2022/23 Cazoo World Darts Championship) is the 30th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event will take place at the Alexandra Palace in London from 15 December 2022–3 January 2023.

The 32 highest ranked players on the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit (not already qualified) and 32 qualifiers from around the world will begin in the first round.
The top 32 from the PDC Order of Merit will begin the competition in the second round.

Peter Wright opened his title defence with a comfortable 3-0 win over Mickey Mansell on the opening night of the 2022/23 Cazoo World Darts Championship.
Wright becomes the first player through to the third round as he opened his quest for a third World Championship crown, while Nathan Rafferty and Grant Sampson advanced to round two with victories on their Alexandra Palace debuts.
