Description

The Palmetto Championship at Congaree is a PGA Tour stroke play event that will be played for the first time from June 10–13, 2021 at Congaree Golf Club in Gillisonville near Ridgeland, South Carolina. The event was announced April 2, 2021, and will be a one time event, as a replacement to the 2021 RBC Canadian Open which was canceled due to logistical challenges related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Garrick Higgo played a final round 68 to win his maiden PGA Tour title by one shot at the Palmetto Championship at Congaree. His victory in only his second start on Tour earned him PGA Tour status through the 2023 season.
Higgo fired three birdies, two bogeys and an eagle at the par-5 12th but his victory was facilitated by leader Chesson Hadley bogeying his final three holes.
