The Hoag Classic (formerly Toshiba Classic) is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour Champions. The Hoag Classic is played annually in March in Newport Beach, California at the Newport Beach Country Club. The tournament was founded in 1995 as the Toshiba Senior Classic. Hoag became the title sponsor of the tournament starting in 2019.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Ernie Els won the Hoag Classic on Sunday for his first PGA TOUR Champions title, birdieing the par-5 15th and 18th holes for a two-stroke victory at Newport Beach Country Club.
Making his third PGA TOUR Champions start, the 50-year-old Hall of Famer from South Africa closed with a 4-under 67 to finish at 16-under 197
