Description

The Jacksonville Dixie Blues are a professional women’s tackle football team, playing NCAA style football. They began their journey over 22 years ago and have won more games than any other organized football team in Jacksonville. The Blues are a family of former college athletes as well as business professionals from all backgrounds. They are not only mothers and wives, but firefighters, law enforcement, health care professionals, collegiate coaches, mentors, and teachers.

The Jacksonville Dixie Blues take pride in the national status that they have worked so hard to
achieve. As members of the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), they join over 40 teams across
the United States who have joined forces to form the most recognized league in the country. As
three-time national champions since inauguration, the Blues strive to represent their home city of Jacksonville as one of the most challenging and most popular locations in the United States. They travel regionally during regular season play and venture across the country as they work into postseason play.

With the commitment of the coaches and athletes, the Dixie Blues look to continue the success as one of the most decorated teams in the women’s professional tackle football history and look forward to sharing this journey with you!
