Description

Associação Atlética Portuguesa, better known as Portuguesa Santista (to avoid confusion with the team of the same name from the capital of São Paulo), is one of the largest Brazilian and São Paulo football clubs in the city of Santos, on the coast of the state of São Paulo.

It was founded on November 20, 1917 and its colors are red and green.

Portuguesa Santista receives the affectionate names of Briosa or Rubro-verde from its fans.

The Briosa team will compete in Série A3 in 2026 after relegation in 2025.
