Nomad Hockey Club (Kazakh: Nomad Hokkej Kluby), commonly referred to as Nomad Nur-Sultan, is a farm team of the Barys Nur-Sultan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Founded in 2007 as Barys Astana–2, the team changed its name to Nomad Astana in 2013. Formerly a member of the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship, Nomand currently play in the Supreme Hockey League, the second tier of ice hockey in Russia.

The Kazakhstan Sports Palace (Kazakh: Qazaqstan sport saraiy) is a palace of sports located in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. It serves as the home for Nomad Astana and HC Astana of the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship and Snezhnye Barsy junior hockey team of the Junior Hockey League. The arena seats 4,070 spectators for ice hockey.
