Misfits Gaming is a professional esports organisation based in the United Kingdom that currently has players competing in League of Legends, Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros.: Ultimate. It originally began as a League of Legends team and was founded on 18 May 2016.
Misfits' League of Legends team competes in Europe's top professional league, the LEC, which they qualified for in 2016 (when it was known as the EU LCS) and became a franchise partner of in 2019. In 2017 the team qualified for that year's World Championship, where they made it to the knockout stage but lost 2–3 to SK Telecom T1 in the quarterfinals.
