Associazione Sportiva Roma, commonly referred to as Roma, is an Italian professional football club based in Rome. Founded by a merger in 1927, Roma have participated in the top-tier of Italian football for all of their existence except for 1951–52.
Roma have won Serie A three times, in 1941–42, 1982–83 and 2000–01, as well as winning nine Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. In European competitions, Roma won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1960–61 and were runners-up in the 1983–84 European Cup and the 1990–91 UEFA Cup.
Fifteen players have won the FIFA World Cup while playing at Roma: Ferraris, Guaita and Masetti (1934); Donati, Monzeglio and Serantoni (1938); Bruno Conti (1982); Rudi Voller and Berthold (1990); Aldair (1994); Candela (1998); Cafu (2002); Daniele De Rossi, Simone Perrotta and Francesco Totti (2006).
Since 1953, Roma have played their home matches at the Stadio Olimpico, a venue they share with city rivals Lazio. With a capacity of over 72,000, it is the second-largest of its kind in Italy, with only the San Siro able to seat more. The club plan to move to a new stadium, though this is yet to start construction.
The club's home colours are Tyrian purple and gold, which gives Roma their nickname "I Giallorossi" ("The Yellow and Reds"). Their club badge features a she-wolf, an allusion to the founding myth of Rome.

Showing 0 to 31 (Total: 31)Stadium or HomeStadio Olimpico di Serravalle is a multi-purpose stadium in Serravalle, San Marino. First opened in 1969, it is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the national stadium of San Marino.
The Stadio Olimpico was also used by Serravalle-based football club A.C. Juvenes/Dogana for its home games in the Italian league, until the side withdrew to concentrate only on the Sammarinese Championship. The Stadio Olimpico is an all-seater stadium and has a maximum capacity of 6,664. It has hosted teams such as England, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Scotland.
The San Marino national team's three biggest defeats in the stadium are a record 13–0 to Germany in September 2006 and more recently 8–0 to England and by the same score against Ukraine, both in 2013. The national team's only win was also in this stadium; a friendly 1–0 beating of Liechtenstein in 2004. The stadium seats are in two stands along the lengths of the pitch and the highest ever capacities are in those same matches against Germany and England. 5,019 people saw them lose to Germany, and 4,952 saw them lose to England.
San Marino's first official international match, which was a 4–0 defeat to Switzerland, was also played here.
It is also home to the youth teams of San Marino, some of which have worse records on the international stage than the senior team; though their Under-21 side did record a shock 1–0 win over their Welsh counterparts in 2013.
In 2014, the San Marino national team gained their first ever European Championship qualification point here, in a 0-0 draw with Estonia.
The final of the San Marino domestic cup, the Coppa Titano, is also played here each year.
