World Womens Curling Championship

Season Description
The 2026 World Women's Curling Championship (47th) (branded as the 2026 BKT World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) will be held from March 14 to 22 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The venue previously hosted the 2021 World Men's and Women's Championships behind closed doors as well as the 2022 Pan Continental Curling Championships. The format for the Championship featured a thirteen team round robin. The top six teams qualified for the playoff round, where the top two teams receive a bye while the remaining four play in the qualification round to qualify for the semifinals.
