Season Description
The 2025–26 season is the 16th iteration of the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the top national women's football league in the Netherlands. The season started on 6 September 2025 and ends on 22 May 2026. This season, the three bottom-finishing teams will be relegated to the Vrouwen Eerste Divisie .

FC Twente entered the season as the two-time defending champion and also won the KNVB Women's Super Cup immediately before the start of the season. Twente, PSV, and Ajax also competed in European club competitions during the season. Twente was eliminated in the UEFA Women's Champions League league phase, and PSV and Ajax both lost in the UEFA Women's Europa Cup Round of 16. All three teams were winless in their final round of European competition.
