Juan Manuel Romero Báez (born May 5, 2001) is a Paraguayan footballer who plays as a forward for Instituto (C) on loan from Olimpia.

Career
Raised in Olimpia's youth sector, he made his debut in the first team with the Juventus club on October 27, 2022 in the Paraguayan first division match won 6-1 against Resistencia; he scored his first goal on August 27 of the following year, in the match won 1-0 against Sp. Luqueño.

In mid-2024 he was loaned to Sportivo Trinidense where he began to score regularly especially in the first months of 2025; on 11 July 2025 he moved with the same formula to Instituto (C), a club in the Argentine first division.
