Alysson Edward Franco da Rocha dos Santos (born 5 May 2006), known as Alysson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Aston Villa
Early life
Born in Apucarana, Paraná, Alysson joined Grêmio's youth setup in 2018, aged 12.
Career
Gremio
On 10 May 2022, he signed his first professional contract with the club, after agreeing to a three-year deal.
On 10 April 2024, Alysson renewed his contract with the Tricolor until 2028. He made his first team debut on 7 July, coming on as a second-half substitute for fellow youth graduate Gustavo Nunes in a 3–0 away loss to Juventude.
Aston Villa
On 1 January 2026, Alysson joined Premier League club Aston Villa for a reported fee of £8.7 million, with an additional £1.7 million in potential add-ons.
