Description

Angel Piqueras would hop onto a motorcycle for the first time at the age of four and immediately fall in love with the sport. In 2018, he embarked on a rookie campaign in the Moto4 category of the ESBK, finishing fourth before clinching the championship in 2019. After two seasons in the European Talent Cup, finishing fifth and seventh respectively, the #36 joined the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2022. In his debut season in the category, the young rider made a significant impact, securing three victories and finishing fourth overall. In 2023, with nine wins in 14 races, he would be crowned Champion with two rounds to spare, ending the year with a historic 115-point lead over the second-placed rider in the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Thanks to his outstanding performances, the rider from Requena would be recruited by Leopard Racing, who is set to give him an opportunity in the Moto3™ World Championship for 2024.
