Arón Canet Barbero (born 30 September 1999) is a Spanish motorcycle racer, currently competing in the Moto2 for ELF Marc VDS Racing Team.
In 2013, Aron Canet joined the CEV in the Pre-Moto3™ category, graduating to the full CEV Moto3™ championship in 2014. His major break came in 2015 in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship when he joined the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Junior Team and challenged for the title, an unfortunate injury setting him back late in the season before he finished third. His efforts earned him a seat with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team on the world stage in 2016, where he took a rookie podium at Phillip Island a maiden pole at home in Valencia. Canet remained at EG0,0 in 2017 and took three wins, further podiums and two poles – taking P3 overall and ready for an assault on the title in 2018 with the same team. That didn't quite go to plan and the year was interrupted by injury, and for 2018 Canet moves to Max Racing Team with four-time World Champion Max Biaggi at the helm.
