Description

Nicholas Latifi (born 29 June 1995) is a Canadian racing driver. Formerly a development and reserve driver for Racing Point, he is under contract to race for Williams in 2020.
He began his karting career in 2009 and competed until 2012. He signed with Giles Motorsport team to compete in the 2013 Toyota Racing Series. He finished ninth overall. Latifi made an appearance in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain in 2014, driving for Redline Racing at Rockingham Motor Speedway and scored a fourth-place finish in the second of two rounds there. On 14 March 2016, Renault announced Latifi as their new test driver for the 2016 season.
