Adama Traoré (born 28 June 1995) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 2 club FC Metz.
Born on 28 June 1995, in Bamako, Mali, Traoré began his career playing in the youth ranks of the Bamako JMG Academy before joining AS Bakaridjan in the top flight. In January 2014, he signed with French club Lille and was immediately loaned out to Belgian second division side Royal Mouscron-Péruwelz. He made his Ligue 1 debut at 24 September 2014 against OGC Nice in a 1–0 away defeat. Traoré scored his first goal at senior level for Lille against Evian on 7 January 2015.
Traoré was a member of the Mali national under-20 team for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. During the competition, he scored 4 goals and had 3 assists, helping Mali win the bronze medal and earning himself the Adidas Golden Ball as the best player in the competition.
