It was contested by eight teams — seven from Australia and one from Fiji. The tournament ran from 2014 until 2019 before being disbanded at the end of 2020 following the change of the Australian rugby TV broadcasting deal from Fox Sports, who funded the competition, to Stan Sport. The 2020 competition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. zag | ||

Posts: 162 Joined: 2021-05-22 | NOT a new league, but a league that needs a name change: Pro14 -> United Rugby Championship Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Rugby_Championship This is the same Pro14, but rebranding after adding 4 of the South African teams that left Super Rugby. Those 4 teams already exist and I have added them to the league. Note that these 2 teams could use a name change as well after leaving Super Rugby. Australian New South Wales NPL - 3111 Australian Northern NSW NPL - 3086 Australian Queensland NPL - 3286 Australian South Australia NPL - 3372 Australian Tasmania NPL - 2703 (I couldn't find a more up to date API ID) Australian Victoria NPL - 3115 Australian Western Australia NPL - 3335 The following may be slightly confusing, can the current Australian National Premier Leagues be renamed to Australian ACT NPL as this is the league which the API ID (3087) currently shows the info for.
