Result Description

Joshua Van left no ambiguity in his rematch with Alexandre Pantoja, retaining the UFC flyweight championship by unanimous decision after five demanding rounds at Crypto.com Arena. Pantoja applied his familiar grappling pressure early and found success with takedowns, but Van gradually adjusted, keeping more of the fight at striking range and using his speed and accuracy to take control. An accidental head clash briefly interrupted the action in the second round, but Van continued to grow into the contest and produced his strongest moments late, including a heavy right hand that dropped Pantoja in the fifth.
