Description

The final round of the 2026 Ayla Classic will not take place, with no winner to be crowned and no trophy awarded at the Ayla Golf Club. The closing stretch of the tournament, which was expected to provide a dramatic finish on the 18th hole, remains silent. The cancellation of the "Jordan Swing" represents a significant blow to the 2025–26 season schedule, as many players, such as Ireland’s Alex Maguire, find their immediate competitive futures in disarray. Strategically, the tour is now in a "waiting game," with a crucial decision pending on March 16 regarding whether the remaining stops in Qatar and the UAE can safely proceed.
