Result Description

Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) delivered a masterclass in Goiânia, claiming his second win of the 2026 season and his fourth consecutive Grand Prix victory. Bezzecchi snatched the lead from polesitter Fabio Di Giannantonio at the first corner and never looked back, leading all 23 laps to win by a comfortable 3.231-second margin. The victory moved Bezzecchi to the top of the World Championship standings, making him the first Aprilia rider in history to achieve five premier-class wins.

The battle for the remaining podium spots was a tactical war of nerves. Jorge Martín secured an Aprilia 1-2, matching his teammate's pace for much of the race to take his first podium of the season. Behind him, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46) won a race-long duel against reigning world champion Marc Márquez. The two Ducati riders made contact twice in the final five laps, but "Diggia" held his line at Turn 12 to secure third. Ai Ogura impressed in fifth, while Francesco Bagnaia's weekend ended in disaster after a crash on Lap 10 while running in 11th place.
