After Team USA went 3-1 in the foursomes morning round and split the four afternoon fourball matches, the defending champions deficit was 11-5 heading into Sunday's singles play. The Americans need just 3.5 more points to capture the Ryder Cup trophy. Europe needs nine points to retain it.
