Mi Hyang Lee delivered a clinical, bogey-free 6-under-par 66 to seize the outright lead at the halfway point of the Blue Bay LPGA. The South Korean, chasing her first victory in over eight years, navigated the gusty conditions with expert iron play to reach 11-under-par total. Lee’s strategy of hitting specific sections of the undulating greens paid dividends, as she converted birdies on three of the four par-5s to pull one stroke clear of the field.

The home crowd had plenty to cheer about as Yu Liu climbed into solo second at 10-under-par. The former Duke standout carded a 66 of her own, highlighted by eight birdies, as she looks to join Shanshan Feng as the only Chinese winner in the tournament's history. American Auston Kim remains a dangerous threat in third at 9-under after an adventurous 68 that included an eagle on the 8th hole.
