The third round of the 2026 Honda LPGA Thailand arrived with a fever pitch as World No. 1 Jeeno (Atthaya) Thitikul looked to capitalize on her home-soil advantage. Following a sensational second-round 63, Thitikul entered Saturday trailing South Korea’s Somi Lee, who had set the tournament world on fire with a record-tying 61 on Friday. With the Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya continuing to yield low scores under the humid Thai sun, "Moving Day" lived up to its name, shifting the momentum toward the local favorite as the pressure of the final pairings mounted.

Result Description
Jeeno Thitikul thrilled the home galleries by seizing a two-stroke lead heading into the final round. After a steady start, Thitikul ignited her round on the back nine, finishing with a flourish of three consecutive birdies on holes 16, 17, and 18. Her 6-under-par 66 brought her to 20-under-par for the tournament. Thitikul’s composure was the story of the day; even a rare bogey on the 14th hole didn't rattle her, as she immediately recovered to pull away from a crowded pack of pursuers.

Hyo Joo Kim of South Korea surged into solo second place at 18-under-par after a clinical 65. Kim carded nine birdies on the day, including three in her final four holes, positioning herself as the primary threat to Thitikul’s title hopes. Meanwhile, overnight leader Somi Lee struggled to replicate her Friday magic, carding an even-par 72 that saw her slip into a tie for third at 17-under-par alongside U.S. Women’s Open champion Allisen Corpuz and Japanese standout Chizzy (Chisato) Iwai.

New Zealand’s Lydia Ko remains a factor in solo sixth at 16-under-par, four shots back. With the course playing fast and the lead group stacked with major champions, Sunday promises a high-scoring shootout as Thitikul attempts to become the first Thai winner of the event since Patty Tavatanakit in 2024.
