Description

The Kansai Open Golf Championship is a professional golf tournament held annually in the Kansai region of Japan. It was the first professional golf tournament in Japan, founded in 1926, one year before the Japan Open. The 2025 edition was won by Kota Kaneko, who secured his maiden JGTO title with a one-shot victory. Kaneko's final round of 67, including a crucial eagle on the 16th and a birdie on the 17th, allowed him to edge out Yosuke Asaji and Ryu Hyun-Woo. The tournament took place at Hino Golf Club
